Goreshade the Bastard vs. Commander Adept Nemo

I played my old room mate Alan's burgeoning Cygnar list today. He had a Hunter, Black 13th, an Ironclad heavy, and a Charger. I had a Reaper, Withershadow, Bane Thralls, and Bane Lord Tartarus.

I learned a very important lesson. Chain Lightning hurts Bane Thralls... Black 13th got dropped to Ryan only by Withershadow Combine. I had the Ironclad dropped by the Bane Thralls from Goreshade's feat. His turn comes around and Nemo is drunk on focus from Arcane Accumulator. Two chain lightnings later, all the Bane Thralls are dead along with the Deathwalker. However, he had left Nemo inside 14 inches of Goreshade and the Reaper. Three focus on the Reaper, along with Puppet Master from Withershadow made sure he got dragged in and pummeled to death. Victory to me.

I'm playing him later tonight with pDenny. I'm pretty horrible with her, so we'll see how she works.

This is my first (and so far only) entry in my blog here about my burgeoning Cryx army. I'll be showing finished models, battle reports, and army lists as the mood strikes me.

First off, to the left is my first finished Warmachine model, Tremulus of the Withershadow Combine. I finished him after a couple of nights work while watching Highlander. I think of all the Withershadow, he is my favorite, mainly for his Puppet Master ability, but also his model. I use it often to give either a Reaper a reroll on a high defense/high armor target, when boosting is still iffy. I've also used it on eAsphyxious when he uses Death Knell, either to make sure I hit, or get a kill on a bad roll.

Not to mention popping out Harrowers when the Combine smokes a heavy jack is awesome.
